Jiang Xipei Making a Welcoming Speech
Jiang Xipei made a speech, in which he extended a warm welcome to the guests to the island and other specially-invited guests. Wang Zheng briefed the guests on the business module, product architecture, and development planning of Smart Energy. The goal of Smart Energy is to become a global leading systematic service provider of smart energy and smart city covering energy infrastructure, smart system, energy system and e-commerce. Its main businesses include smart energy and smart city technology, products and services and the research and development of a relevant Internet and Internet of things, manufacturing and sales, project planning and design of smart energy and smart city, investment and energy-efficiency management and services, general project contracting of smart energy and smart city, and the new-energy, lithium battery. For the first half of 2016, Smart Energy booked an operating income of RMB 5,649,095,000, up 8.71% year on year, and a net profit of RMB 211,989,300, up 30.29% year on year.
Sun Lu Introducing Mmbao
Sun Lu briefed the guests on Mmbao. Mmbao is a professional e-commerce platform for wires and cables produced and electrical services provided by Smart Energy. Drawing support from the powerful industrial basis of Smart Energy, the platform leverages short cables and remnant cables and concentrates on the customization and supply of wires and cables and the transactions of matching metal fittings and electrical equipment and services. Relying on big data of the industry accumulated over the years, the platform serves upstream and downstream customers by means of matching supply and demand, bringing together the seller and the buyer, actual goods trading, supply chain financing and the OTO mode, providing customers with one-stop buying and supplying services which range from purchase, sales, payment, logistics, quality inspection, after-sales services, to financing and other related services. In 2015, the Ministry of Commerce designated Mmbao as an "E-Commerce Business Model". In the first half of 2016, Mmbao booked an operating income of RMB 1,915,967,600, up 38.75% year on year, and a net profit of RMB 26,990,300, up 13.49% year on year.
Huang Qingfeng Introducing the Trading Center
Huang Qingfeng briefed the guests on the trading center. In 2016, the trading center started its business after it was granted approval by the Jiangsu Provincial Finance Office. It adopts the overall strategy of "Internet plus", bases itself on the electrical industry, vigorously develops a trading market where actual raw materials of the industry are sold and bought, and conducts transactions using the continuous actual-goods model. This has not only facilitated delivery between physical businesses, it has also satisfied the needs of customers in hedging, enhancing the traditional methods and means for the trading of actual goods and effectively complementing the futures market. An on-line, secure industry chain business model that joins the raw-materials end to the manufacturing end and the end-user is thus established.
